4th of July Sparklers

Happy Independence Day!

Since the Fourth of July was on Sunday, we didn't really do much to celebrate. We did our regular church-going thing, had a nice meal and then spent time together as a family. Just before the boys went to bed I remembered to get out the sparklers, which the boys thought were great!

We had a box of sparklers left over from last year, and ended up using matches to light them because we couldn't find our lighter! Once we got them going we just kept lighting them off each other.

What a cute bug Ephraim was with his sparklers.Of course we had to warn him not to touch the fireworks because they are hot.

He is like a little statue of Liberty or something, don't you think?

When we ran out of sparklers both of the boys wanted to do some more. I guess next year I will actually have to go and buy a box or two!
