April Snow

Today we woke up to find white stuff all over the place. Yuck!

Poor cold tulips!

At least it had all melted by the end of the day, right?

Amelia at 6 weeks

Can you believe Amelia is 6 weeks old? Here is another picture of her with the pink bunny.

She is quite a bit bigger now, but with a lot less hair.

It is hard to say whether or not it will grow back in blond like her brothers, or if it will end up being dark. I guess only time will tell!

Easter Weekend

Easter was pretty low-key this year. I didn't really manage to get much Easter shopping done. But I suppose the boys won't really remember it too much when they are older anyway.

Saturday was another cold and yucky day. Frankly we are getting a bit sick of them. It is hard to find things to keep the boys entertained, but luckily we found this box to keep them amused.

I left Amelia under this toy and came back to find her surrounded by caution cones. At least the boys know they need to be careful around her, right?

I guess this is a good thing because they have been running around the house like a bunch of crazies. I guess the cold weather will do that to you!

Here is a close up of her face.

Jacob wanted to show Amelia his computer. How funny is that?

Here is a picture of Amelia on Easter Sunday. She was wearing a sweater, and isn't she sweet?

We did manage to have an Easter egg hunt on Sunday afternoon. Here are the boys finding the eggs that the Easter bunny left.

Jacob was sharing an egg with Ephraim. Isn't that nice?

The Easter bunny must be tall. He even managed to hide some eggs in the trees!

Ephraim and Jacob both had a good time looking for eggs.

And they sure enjoyed the chocolates!

Life in pictures

April 16

Amelia has been losing her hair, if you can't tell. It happens to all my babies. Then they grow blonde hair. We'll see what happens with Amelia.

Jacob and Amelia were having a bonding moment. They were sitting together, having a chat. Here is a picture of Jacob. He loves Amelia and is a good big brother.

Jacob insisted that I take a picture of Amelia's binky. So here is one of them. They are like the Smoothies that Ephraim had, but with a better shape to them. They have a cut out for the nose so it isn't just a huge circle.

April 18

Here is Amelia downstairs taking a snooze in one of her bouncy chairs.

April 20

Miss Amelia Sock Hands. As you can see, we have started to put socks on Amelia's hands because otherwise she scratches her face all up! Then she gets mad about it. Silly girl!

April 21

Here is a picture that I took of Amelia taking a nap on Mommy and Daddy's bed. Ephraim apparently wanted to share his Zuzu pet with her, so he put it on top of her. How funny is that?

More Amelia pictures

I have been meaning to get some more pictures of Amelia up, but never seem to get to it. Here are some pictures that I have taken recently.

When my mom was here last week we went and bought a cute little dress for Amelia. Most of hers were too big. So we tried it on her. Cute, huh?

She also wore this dress to church on Sunday.

Amelia had her first major blowout, so we decided to just give her a bath. She actually liked her second bath...

She didn't mind the water at all. It was just when we got her out that she wasn't particularly happy.

Here is Amelia giving me a big yawn.

Isn't she precious?

Amelia's Stats (No Fooling!)

Today was Amelia's two week doctor appointment.
Here are the stats:

Length: 20 inches (50th percentile)
Weight: 6 lbs 14 oz (10th percentile)
Head Circ: 35 cm (25th percentile)

Amelia has gained 1 pound in the past two weeks, which doctor Arnold said was awesome. She is doing really well, which is great.

It was really great to talk to Doctor Arnold. He had some good advice for us about about getting Amelia on a good schedule. She has been doing pretty well with sleeping at night, we just have to work on stretching her feedings out during the day so she goes longer between and eats more at each feeding. We'll see how that goes!
