Day at the Park (March 4)

We were experiencing the warm before the predicted storm, so the boys and I decided to go to the park in the morning. It has been a while since we made it to a park, and the boys had tons of fun.

I had a great time following them around, taking pictures. I love this one of Ephraim about to take the plunge down the wobbly bridge. He wasn't sure if he wanted to go at first, but since Jacob went across that meant Ephraim was going to go too!

The boys had fun going down the slide... over and over again.

They also had fun pretending that they were blasting off in the "rocket". There is actually a part of the wooden play areas that is designed like a rocket. Jacob and Ephraim think it's really cool.

We did everything at the park. We played on the swings...

we played on these spinning toys (whatever they are called)...

and we played with all the turning blocks (tic-tac-toe and words).

As it got closer to lunchtime the weather got more cloudy and windy. Good thing we were headed home. It was really nice to spend some time outside with the boys. We are definitely looking forward to Spring and more time spent at Discovery Park.
