Picnic in the basement

Today when Jacob got home from school the boys asked me if they could have a picnic in the basement. I didn't have a problem with that, so I made their lunches and brought them downstairs.

As you can see from their faces, they are eating and watching TV at the same time. Not just any old TV... the "new-to-us" TV that the Randalls kindly gave us when they got a new one. Check out the size of it!

Yep! They were watching Sesame street. Hooray for educational TV!

The boys loved their "picnic" and I was glad that something so simple could make them happy.
