Laborious Labor Day

What a busy day! Here is the rundown of our Labor Day:

*Washed a load of laundry
*Hung laundry to dry
*Took the boys for a short walk while Joe took a bike ride

*Cut up 5 large bowls of tomatoes (took about an hour!)


*Joe cut up all our peppers and onions


*Ran the tomatoes through the strainer.
*Took a break for lunch.
*Kept straining and chopping.
*Joe and Jacob ran to the store to get more onion and cilantro.
*Finished fixing the salsa.


*Cleaned up the kitchen.
*Fixed dinner and we all took a break to eat.
*Took the clothes off the line
*Canned 30 pints of salsa


Then I went on 16 mile bike ride while Joe put the kids to bed.
When I got home I crashed! No wonder, huh?
